What additional equipment will my child need that is not provided by CHSA?   A pair of well-fitted shin guards A pair of comfortable athletic shoes or cleats (make sure cleats are SOCCER cleats) For the parents of very young players?  Since you will be involved and will be asked to participate, you will need comfortable athletic shoes and attire, but nothing soccer specific!   How do you know when it has rained too much or the fields are too wet to play or practice on?   Look for a Red Flag flying from one of the blue Soccer Complex signs.  One sign is located on Conduit Road between the Library and the Vo-Tech entrance.  The second sign is located near the Concession Stand.  If a Red Flag is flying, the fields are closed! Call the soccer hotline at (804) 526-9675.   What is the policy for playing on the fields during lightning?   All play will be stopped upon the first sign of lightning or sound of thunder.  Play will not resume until 15 minutes after the last strike occurs.  Games will be cancelled at the Referee's discretion.
