The Severe
Weather Siren is located on top of the James Avenue Fire Station.
This siren is activated when a Thunderstorm Warning or Tornado Warning
is issued for the City of Colonial Heights. Please
do not dial 911 when you hear the siren.
When the siren is activated, Colonial Heights Emergency Services
encourages you to turn on your TV or radio station for further
instructions or visit the
National
Weather Service Virginia Warnings Website.
This early
warning siren will be tested on the first Saturday of each month at
12:00 noon.
