to moderate income households have been served with
the City of Colonial Heights’ Year 1 to Year 4
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
allocations. Funds are still available to serve
additional households in 2009.
A
one-time grant
of up to $8,000
is available per
owner-occupied home to assist with specific home
repairs or activities that
eliminate conditions
detrimental to the safety and health of the
residents. The house must be located within
the Violet Bank-Flora Hill or Shepherd Stadium
Planning Districts in the City of Colonial Heights.
Eligible activities or repairs include but are not
limited to the following:

order to be considered for this grant all homeowners
must be at or below 80% of the area median income.

people living in the home, cannot exceed the
