Adopt A Highway
SPRING CLEAN UP DAY 2008

The Adopt-a-Highway Program completed its annual Spring Clean up on April 26, 2008. There were approximately 150 persons in attendance at the Community Building. Coffee and pastries were served; safety vests, trash bags, paper pickers and T-shirts were given out the morning of the clean up.

The City Manager welcomed everyone Saturday Morning. He thanked all in attendance for coming out to pick up litter.  The participants represented civic groups, churches, individuals and businesses. A collection of 68 33-gallon trash bags of litter was disposed of in the day’s activities.
