The Colonial Heights
Treasurer, Joy W. Moore, is an elected Constitutional Officer responsible for the
collection of all taxes, licenses, fees and receipt of all other City
revenues and collections. She is also responsible for all state
fiduciary income and state estimated income taxes.

The Treasurer's Office is
open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The office
collects the following payments:

Personal Property Tax

Parking Tickets

State Income Taxes

Pet Licensing

Building, Electrical,
Plumbing and Heating Permits (all are generated in the Building
Inspections Office)

Bicycle permits (generated at the Police Department)

Sign permits (generated
in the Planning Department)

Recreation and Parks
activities (these are turned into the Recreation and Parks Department
and then distributed to our office)

(generated in the Commissioner of the Revenue Office)
