The Colonial Heights Office on Youth and Human
Services identifies the needs of youth and their families and is a referral agency
linking young people and their families to appropriate
services. The agency seeks to increase public awareness of recreational,
educational,
and 
mental health opportunities. Our office is located on the second
floor of City Hall, 201 James Avenue.
Eileen McHugh Brown was
hired to be the Director of the Office on Youth &
Human Services in April of 1997. She is a graduate of the
Leadership Development Program at the Weldon Cooper
Center for Public Service at the University of
Virginia.
Eileen received her Master of
Social Work in Planning and Administration from VCU
School of Social Work in 1985. Additionally, she
completed all of the coursework necessary for
Clinical Social Work and became a Licensed Clinical
Social Worker in 1989.
